Times are changing, and our view on how we see gender roles is too. With that in mind this book rises from the question “Is the gender of a character that relevant in the story?”
More than a regular fairy tales book, Ten Gender Swap Fairy Tales is a study in gender and story telling, using tales we all know and love to explore if they still work with characters form the opposite gender.
Taking this new ideas and applying them in a familiar setting, looking for a new perspective on how gender in story telling is approached.
I hope this experiment gives more light in the matter, so please have a look and let me know what you think.
